Real Score Limits

Real Score Limits: Determined by taking half the distance between any 2 adjacent score limits representing the upper score limit of one interval and the lower score limit (lrl) of the adjacent interval

9, 10, 11 (measurement unit = 1) lrl of 10 = (9 + 10) / 2 = 9.5

9.8, 9.9, 10.0 (measurement unit = 0.1) lrl of 9.9 = (9.8 + 9.9) / 2 = 9.85

9.85, 9.86, 9.87 (measurement unit = 0.01) lrl of 9.86 = (9.85 + 9.86) / 2 = 9.855

Expressed in interval:

1. When higher scores represent better performance:

15 - 16 lrl = (14 + 15) / 2 = 14.5

13 - 14

2. When lower scores represent better performance:

9.3 - 9.2 lrl = (9.3 + 9.4) / 2 = 9.35

9.5 - 9.4
